Exceptional characteristics
Ride 'em Cowboy takes my breath away in late summer with its extensive ruffling and wide, flat form and flashes of gold edging. The color can be garish. But I am fond of garish in a big way when it comes to orange. One of a series of exceptional oranges that has shown up among the seedlings in recent years. I don't see any more on the immediate horizon. But this is all I will need, coupled with ORANGE SURF (98), to create the great orange daylilies of the future.
