Dormant tetraploid with excellent, flat form and nearly perfect flowers every time in midseason.
The color is greenish cream-yellow. The texture is heavy and waxy. I decided several years ago not to introduce this because some blooms are below the tops of the foliage unless the plant is grown well. However, DANCING DOLPHIN has been one of the most-wanted daylilies in the garden the past three years. So here it is.
Fair branching and bud count. Quite fertile.
