DEAR FRIEND GLADYS makes a color statement that is without peer. I have worked since the early 1980s to produce this color of antique lavender. Finally it has arrived, and as a bonus the plant performs gloriously, producing reams of flowers on gorgeous branching. This is tough, hardy and wonderful in every way. Named at the urging of my mother for a friend of many years named Gladys Campbell. I was merely thrilled when I first saw it, but it has grown on me, and I am now stunned by it.
