| Exceptional characteristics Parallel Universe could be considered the best of my daylilies. But then, there is Silver Waffle, one of its parents. It is our best and most prolific parent and is still used heavily. Parallel Universe produces eyes, big edges and best of all, exceptional clarity. There have been years when I have kept entire 300-foot rows of its seedlings. I just couldn't find a bad one and they were all different. The only flaw here is that it makes me work too hard, to grow all its profuse seedlings and to make difficult decisions about what to keep. |
