Exceptional characteristics
Rose Weekend is a lovely color with seersuckered texture and extraordinary size. The flowers contain more square inches of surface than almost any other daylily. That's because the diameter is extremely large and the petals are quite wide, as well. If it were not for its one flaw, somewhat low bud count, we would have used this as a conversion. Instead we converted one of its parents: Daveo Holman, and a close relative of its other parent: Tiffany Gold. If you breed diploids, this still has much to recommend it.
